Our Compliance & Business Ethics team is looking for an enthusiastic mid-level Compliance Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an international environment, navigating evolving regulations, and supporting business teams as we expand into new markets. You will work across a variety of compliance areas including international sanctions, conflicts of interest, fit and proper assessments, and broader business ethics topics. The position combines both analytical and operational responsibilities, so you should feel comfortable managing complex compliance task alongside more essential administrative duties. Your contribution will directly support our global operations and help shape compliant processes for new and existing markets.
Key Responsibilities
Support our international expansion and global business activities, with a strong focus on international sanctions and the establishment of business operations in new jurisdictions.
- Provide compliance and regulatory support for ongoing international business activities as well as international business expansion, including entry into new markets and jurisdictions.
- Support business teams and underwriters in understanding and application of local and cross‑border regulatory requirements.
- Assess regulatory, sanctions, data protection and ethics‑related risks associated with new products, markets or business models.
- Participate in the design of compliant processes and controls for new markets.
- Contribute to other core compliance activities, including conflict of interest management, fit and proper assessments, and business ethics topics.
What We Expect
- Degree in Law, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a compliance role, ideally within the insurance, reinsurance, or financial sectors.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned compliance topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into clear, practical guidance for business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Copilot, with a genuine interest in leveraging new technologies to improve efficiency.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong learning agility.
