We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Data Quality Analyst to join our Business Data team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity and reliability of data across the organization. You will contribute to the design and implementation of data quality processes, perform data validation and analysis, and work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to support data governance initiatives.
A key responsibility of this position is the operational deployment of data governance frameworks and data quality rules within the company’s data flows. You will also manage and maintain the metadata catalogue to ensure consistent and accurate data documentation. Your Responsibilities
- Perform data quality assessments (reconciliation, controls, validation, trend monitoring)
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to define and implement data quality rules
- Prepare documentation and process descriptions related to data quality and data governance
- Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of data quality rules
- Support monitoring and reporting of data quality KPIs and scorecards
- Raise awareness of the importance of data quality across the organization
- Identify opportunities for data quality improvements and propose solutions
- Maintains metadata catalogue
What We Expect
- Experience with data analysis (SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Python)
- Experience with data management processes
- Strong interest in Data Governance, Data Quality, and metadata management
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT colleagues
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and systematic approach to work
- English proficiency sufficient for documentation and day-to-day communication
- Familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., Databricks, MS SQL)
- Familiarity with data architecture principles
- Experience with data governance / catalog tools (Dawiso, Collibra, etc.)
- Experience in (re)insurance, finance, or other regulated industries
