The Enterprise Architect (EA) plays a pivotal role in shaping the future integration of our company’s business requirements, IT architecture, data, and processes. The EA proactively drives the IT strategy through business objectives, ensuring all IT initiatives support the strategic goals. This role will oversee projects, focusing on architectural design and implementation, and actively participate in the prioritization of the project portfolio. Strategically, the EA will continuously develop and maintain enterprise architecture models, standards, principles, and policies. The EA is also responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to drive constant innovation and improvement
Your tasks
- Collaborate with business and central functions to gather and analyze their requirements, supporting the prioritization and translation into technical solutions.
- Create and manage architectural documentation and blueprints, defining and enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with business needs by conducting workshops and proactively seeking collaboration with business leaders, strategy, IT teams, VIG group and VIG Holding and external partners to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Provide architectural guidance during the implementation of projects.
- Monitor and assess the current architecture to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously assess and improve enterprise architecture frameworks and processes.
- Mentor and guide the organization on architectural principles and methodologies.

- Strong understanding of reinsurance processes, especially underwriting and pricing.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in articulating complex technical concepts.
