As an ALM & Capital Management Analyst, you will play a key role in setting up and steering the Company’s asset liability management processes across all currencies. You will analyse capital needs, assess the Company’s financial position, and support management with proposals to ensure optimal capital structure and long‑term financial stability.
What you can expect
- Analysing assets and liabilities with respect to currency exposures and duration.
- Designing and implementing a regular monitoring, reporting, and escalation process related to the impact on the Solvency II and IFRS balance sheet and equity.
- Proposing a cash flow forecasting and projection framework in close cooperation with the Investment Officer.
- Regularly reviewing the Company’s capital position and evaluating capital needs.
- Updating and maintaining the capital plan, including recommendations for efficient measures that consider key performance indicators and their influence on Company performance.
- Supporting the execution of the capital plan and the Company’s asset liability management processes.
- Interacting closely with internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, Investment Officer, Risk Management, Capital Management, and VIG Group functions (Treasury and Asset Management).
What we expect
To be successful in this role, you ideally bring:
- University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in capital markets, treasury, or risk management.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; French and/or German is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and an analytical mindset.
- Efficient and clear communication abilities.
- A collaborative team spirit, with the ability to work independently when needed.
