Junior Accountant

Czech Republic Full-time

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Accountant with a strong learning mindset and the drive to grow into independent accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with initial accounting experience who wants to develop into a well-rounded accounting professional while gaining exposure to modern finance systems, automation initiatives, and process improvements.

If you have 1–3 years of accounting experience, enjoy working with data and systems, and are ready to learn automated accounting tools, and contribute to a growing international company undergoing an exciting digital transformation, we would love to hear from you.

Your Task

Records day-to-day simple transactions and completes the posting process
Performs basic accounting operations in accordance with local tax and accounting requirements
Processes quarterly account reconciliation as agreed with the Financial Accountant specialist
Perform assigned tasks during quarterly and yearly closings.
Process and review employee travel expenses and business trip reimbursements.
Assist with data clean-up, data quality improvements, and process optimization activities to support automation initiatives.
Learn and apply accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial processes.
Support an adoption of new digital tools and systems within the Finance function.

What We Expect

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (A&R, controlling, accounting knowledge).
Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop accounting expertise.
Experience with systems like Excel is a must and with SAP is a plus.
Fluent English and the ability to work in international environment.
Solid accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
High level of diligence.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to investigate issues and follow through until they are resolved.
Curiosity, resilience, and perseverance when learning new processes and systems.
Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a growing, evolving organization.
