As a People Business Partner at VIG Re, you will play a strategic role in aligning our people capabilities with business goals across our Paris, Munich, and Prague offices. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives that foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. The role is based in Prague and include occasional travel to Paris or Munich.
We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with strong business partnering experience, ideally supporting French-speaking countries. Fluency in both English and French is essential (Czech is an advantage), as you will be also responsible for managing the HR agenda for our French operation.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Champion change management and cultural transformation initiatives.
- Support performance and reward programs, including compensation and recognition.
- Manage employee relations and enhance engagement through effective communication.
- Leverage HR data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with HR Centers of Expertise and external partners.
What We Expect
- Proven experience in a senior HR business partner or similar strategic HR role, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting French-speaking regions is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of EU labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Skilled in competency-based interviewing and talent development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion.
- Fluent in both Business English and French; Czech or German is a plus.
