Pricing Associate

Germany Full-time

We are looking for an Associate Pricing Actuary with an actuarial or data analysis background to join our team in Munich which is responsible for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future together with our team out of Munich.

What you can expect

Variety: You are supporting in the analysis, pricing/modelling, and evaluation of profitable treaty reinsurance business for VIG Re. Variety is guaranteed as you can dive into different markets and lines of business within P&C treaty reinsurance.
Client focus: You are eager to understand client needs and to support in developing solutions for clients and markets.

What we expect

You have a passion for numbers and for making data meaningful
Digital literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel, programming skills are an advantage
You are interested to work closely with clients and business partners
Open minded, proactive and a team player who takes ownership and is reliable
Completed university degree (preferably in Economics, Insurance, Actuarial science or Quantitative studies)
First experience in a non-life Underwriting role in insurance or reinsurance is welcomed
Proficient command of German and English
