Senior Cloud Professional

Your tasks

• Lead the design, implementation, and daily management of secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams (including external providers) to deliver cost-effective and compliant cloud solutions.
• Oversee cloud migration projects, system upgrades, and integration efforts with legacy systems.
• Manage the entire cloud lifecycle—from architecture and deployment to automation, monitoring, and governance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Ensure cloud environments meet SLAs for uptime, security, and performance while optimizing resource utilization and controlling costs.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, proactive incident management, and research into emerging cloud technologies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as GDPR, DORA, and ISO standards.
• Support 24/7 cloud operations within a shift-based coverage model, maintaining high availability and rapid incident response.

Our expectations

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience managing and operating cloud infrastructures, including leading migration initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, virtualization (e.g., VMware), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud governance, and compliance requirements.
• Relevant cloud certifications, with additional security certifications being a strong plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and proactively, with an eye for detail and quality.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach.
• Fluency in English; Czech language skills are an advantage.
• Industry knowledge within insurance or reinsurance is a plus.
