Join VIG Re and help shape the digital experience of our next‑generation (re)insurance platforms. As a Senior Front‑End Developer, you’ll build modern, responsive, and high‑performance applications using Angular—turning complex business workflows into intuitive user experiences.
Your tasks
Build and maintain scalable, reusable Angular (14+) components and enterprise‑grade web applications.
Implement robust client‑side state management using NgRx or NGXS.
Integrate RESTful APIs in close collaboration with backend developers, ensuring efficient data handling and error management.
Ensure applications are responsive, accessible (WCAG), and optimized for global users.
Monitor and improve front‑end performance (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, rendering optimization).
Drive code quality through unit tests (Jasmine/Karma) and E2E tests (Cypress/Playwright).
Package and deploy front‑end applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Implement data visualizations (D3.js, Highcharts) to simplify complex insurance metrics.
Work with DevSecOps to implement client‑side security (OIDC, Azure AD).
Lead discussions on front‑end best practices, modern CSS (Sass/Tailwind), and new Angular features.
Our expectations
Strong experience with Angular (14+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/Sass.
Proven track record building enterprise‑level web applications, ideally in finance, insurance, or data‑heavy environments.
Solid understanding of RxJS, Observables, and state management patterns.
Experience deploying containerized front‑ends (Docker, AKS) or Azure Static Web Apps.
Familiarity with GDPR requirements for client‑side data handling and consent.
Ability to translate UI/UX designs from Figma or Adobe XD into high‑quality code.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high‑quality work.
Fluent spoken and written English.
University degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Interaction Design, or similar is preferred.
