Are you a finance expert with a deep understanding of IFRS 17 and a drive to lead improvements in accounting processes? We are seeking a Senior IFRS Specialist to join our international and innovative team. This is a key role with significant responsibility, offering the opportunity to support strategic financial activities and become part of a professional forward-thinking environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a methodological expert for IFRS 17 accounting and reporting within the finance department.
- Oversee quarterly closing activities related to IFRS 17, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Perform complex financial analyses to support reporting and decision-making.
- Support the Finance Manager in process automation and continuous optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Controlling, Reserving, Technical Accounting, IT.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including Group Finance and Group Controlling.
What We Expect
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in economics, accounting, or business administration.
- 7+ years of experience in finance, or at least 5 years in a senior/specialist role.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IFRS 17 from a re/insurance company or consulting firm.
- Solid experience with IFRS financial statements and group reporting under IFRS.
- Strong ownership mindset, accountability, and initiative in process design and delivery.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficient in SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems.
- Familiarity with Solvency II reporting is a strong plus.Advanced MS Office skills; experience with Power Query, SQL, or similar tools is a distinct advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working with both business and technical teams.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
