We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will play a key role in ensuring the availability, scalability, and performance of our Azure‑based platforms. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, applying engineering principles to infrastructure challenges and helping us build a reliable, observable, and secure environment for our (re)insurance systems.
Your tasks
Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, ensuring high availability and smooth scaling.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (or Bicep/Pulumi).
Implement and improve observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Automate operational tasks and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Ensure platform security and compliance (GDPR, Solvency II) through Azure Policy, network controls, and secret management.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead post‑incident reviews in a blameless culture.
Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, and Architects to ensure production‑ready infrastructure.
Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and cloud‑native best practices.
Our expectations
Strong hands‑on experience with AKS, Azure networking (CNI), and Kubernetes operations.
Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Experience with CI/CD automation and cloud‑native tooling (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux).
Solid understanding of observability, SLIs/SLOs, and distributed tracing.
Knowledge of cloud networking, container security, and secret management.
Ability to script in Python, Go, or PowerShell/Bash.
Experience working in regulated environments is a plus.
University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Bonus: Azure Architect, Azure Administrator, or CKA certification.
What we offer
Opportunity to shape and operate a modern, cloud‑native platform in Azure.
Work with experienced engineers in a collaborative, supportive environment.
A culture that values automation, learning, and continuous improvement.
